Delicious beef soup noodles. The soup comes in normal and spicy (with different levels). The dumplings are also very good. The atmosphere is very casual with quick service.

Beef brisket a little tough. Noodles okay. Soup average. Dumpling skin seemed machine made, a little too thick for my taste. Service efficient. Strangely, every table had some paper wedged under one or more legs.

Although looking delicious the beef brisket noodle broth was a bid thin and lacking volume and the beef taste was also different as expected but ok. Probably the best thing one can expect so far away from Taipei.

Love the beef noodles they have here. Don't really like to eat much else. Service isn't as good anymore ever since the manager left to operate The One Restaurant. I still go here almost every week though.

Excellent noodles. We ordered 3 different kinds (beef noodle, pork noodle with veggies, and a non soup noodle with pork and veggies) and they were all delicious. Great value as well.Downsides, it's not the cleanest, particularly the bathroom, but that's expected in a place like this. Also the servers could be friendlier.Free parking in the covered lot beside it so make sure you don't pay.Will definitely come back.

This place has been in existence for a very long time. Still remember my friend brought me here 10 years ago after a game of badminton and had their beef brisket and tendon noodle it was the juiciest and most tender pieces of meat I’ve ever eaten! The noodle is thick and chewy. The broth is the right spicy and it’s in depth.10 years later we came back to this place, other than the price went up a bit, it’s basically the same recipe. The dumplings are still the best in town. For its price and taste, I would always recommend this place.As for parks and service, it’s always a challenge for a small place like this. So the 5 star is based on food and quality only.

Taste: 8/10Appetizer jelly fish: small plate but tasty! I'm a fan of jelly fish though.Beef noodles with beef flank and tendon: nice chewy noodles, solid soup, on the harder side beef flank and ultra soft tendon. I like soft tendon so enjoyed, husband prefers chewy tendon so didn't like it as much. Regardless they gave a LARGE amount. One large bowl can be shared by us... Be warned. Size is large :DWill come again

Lao Shan Dong Homemade Noodle House is located across street from Metrotown. The location is very easy for people to find. I went to this place for lunch with my friend last week. It’s a small restaurant. The servers are very friendly. We’ve ordered Two Braised Beef Flank in soups, Cool mixed dry seaweed noodle, and cool mixed jelly fish. All the food was from homemade. The food came so fast. The cool mixed dry seaweed noodle and jell fish taste a little sweet, which is very great for summer. The beef noodles were hot and fresh. There are lots of vegetable and meat in the soup. Very large portion. The soups were very tasty. If you want a cheap and delicious Chinese homemade food, you should definitely go this restaurant.

Take out was awesome! Love the spicy soup and the beef is so tender. The tendon is also very soft....this soup has great flavour and depth.

The noodles weren't bad. Just the restaurant needs some renovations. For restaurants to survive nowadays, you need to appease the eye of the customer. Pictures on the menu are black and white. Not appealing. The restaurant had many odd colours, not appealing. The walls looks old and stained, not appealing.
